Amazon sent me a replacement and that worked only for few months. Even though it was a bit heavy/bulky the call clarity was very good. The headset was getting discharged pretty fast with talk time of only 30 mins tops or standby time of half a day to a day tops. Was able to pair it with my Treo 650 without any issues. After couple of weeks, I couldn't charge the headset at all. Gave 3 stars because as long as it worked the call quality was good, no static even when I was outdoors or driving. Overall if you are lucky enough to find a headset in great condition it would be a good buy.
They are a very reasonable company to deal with.Hope this is helpful for you. This model is discontinued, replaced by the Mobile Traveller, which is very similar in function, and also has an ear loop fatigue problem, though if you are very careful, you can avoid this. Not the sexiest looking headset.
Usually what went wrong was that the ear loop fatigued and failed. Logitech is a great company, and they would replace the whole unit, which was nice, but the ear loop would then fail after six months or so.Electronically, the headset seemed to work pretty well.
I used a few of these until each died, replacing it with the next one. I used the headset a lot, pairing it with a Motorola V551 phone. The windstop technology does work.
I would say that it has a practical life of about a year. The battery, after that, finally gave out and would not hold a full charge.
But, hey, I'm a geek, anyway.I wish Logitech would release an improved version of this series. By the way, I never paid more than $30 for one of these.
I tried both this bluetooth headset and the HS04 V01. Sound quality was loud enough, but poor (lots of static) with several different phones. Neither felt comfortable on either ear. The instructions were sorely lacking. Worst of all was the battery life - talk time of about 10 minutes just after a full charge (and with attempts to condition the battery). Two failed attempts for Logitech are enough, time to look elsewhere.
Plantronics all the way from now on. It just always falls off, and is just plain annoying.
It was cheaper, so I thought, why not. I bought this when I gave my Plantronics headset to my husband.
This thing pokes off your head like some kind of growth, and no, it's not adjustable. BAD IDEA.
I'll never go cheap with bluetooth again. I'll never buy anything like this again.
If I could give less than one star I would.
Logitech honored the warranty, although it was not registered and they sent me the Logitech Traveler as a replacement at NO CHARGE. However, it worked great and had a decent range. I had this headset for about 2 1/2 months and then it would not hold a charge anymore. When the earclip snapped on the Traveler, I called Logitech and they sent out a replacement earclip for you guessed it, NO CHARGE. The volume could have been a bit louder but overall, it was sufficient. I'm giving it five stars because LOGITECH CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH AND YES, I AM YELLING. Even if I had to buy a replacement ear clip, it only would have cost $2.95. I highly recommend any Logitech product based on their customer service alone.
